On Tuesday, 13th February 2018, all of the Key Stage 2 classes headed out for a day trip to Dinosaur Planet in Sukhumvit Road Bangkok, Thailand. The tour aimed for the students to learn dinosaur age and their activities.
There was excitement in the air. After what seemed like a very long bus ride, the students arrived at the location and were ready for a whole day of exploring and learning at different dinosaur activities. They began with a “dinosaur district “where they learned about fossils, eggs, the extinction of dinosaurs and how they (dinosaurs) protected themselves from natural disasters. From there, they went to the “stars of dino” where they met different species of dinosaurs and answered questions to get rewards.
The much-awaited lunch was served finally, and students enjoyed their food as well as buying some extra snacks at the food hall of the venue. After lunch, the students went to the “40 deep world” where the students watched the movie about excavating the primitive with 4D glasses, making it appear to dig underground. Next, they went to “Raptor Extreme”, they watched the story they needed to find the key to the treasure in the land of the raptors. The Raptors roared after them and found them all in their hiding places. One student from year 4, Maninthon, has found the key to the treasure. Then, the students went to the “dino farm” where they had fun riding dinosaurs and finding fossils. Lastly, they went to the “7D amazing park” where each class took a picture with the endearing sea animals.
At the end of the exploration, Teacher Janice said, “All our Key Stage 2 students have enjoyed every single station with our dinosaur friends. We hope to come back again.” Even though the students were tired, it was a fun and enjoyable day that was enjoyed by all students and teachers who came.
