IPS offers a structured academic journey that prepares students for internationally recognised examinations and future university study. Here is how the British international curriculum works at each stage:
Early Years and Primary
In the Early Years and Primary stages, students build core literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills in a nurturing environment. Our approach combines academic foundations with curiosity, creativity, and confidence-building, preparing children for the next stage of learning. Year 6 at IPS includes Cambridge Checkpoint to ensure a solid academic foundation.Â
Lower Secondary and Cambridge Checkpoint
As students move into lower secondary, learning becomes more structured and subject-based while maintaining strong teacher support. IPS students have a consistent record in the Cambridge Checkpoint assessments in Year 9, regularly performing above the global average in Science, Mathematics, and English, showing our students are prepared for internationally benchmarked progress.
Cambridge IGCSE
In Years 10 and 11, students at International Pioneers School, follow a rigorous academic programme leading to Cambridge IGCSE qualifications. This stage helps learners deepen subject knowledge, strengthen study skills, and prepare for higher education.
Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge AS/A Levels
For senior secondary (Years 12 and 13) students, IPS offers internationally recognised advanced qualifications, including Pearson Edexcel AS/A Levels and Cambridge AS/A Levels. These programmes support progression into leading universities in Thailand and abroad, while giving students flexibility in selecting subjects that match their goals. As an official Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel examination centre, IPS also hosts on-site SAT testing for students applying to universities abroad.Â

Krungthonburi Campus
Our first campus in Krungthonburi on Charoen Nakorn Road serves families seeking a well-established British-curriculum international school in Bangkok.
Bangkhae Campus
Our Bangkhae Campus on Phutthamonthon Sai 2 Road opened in 2022 and broadens access for families in western Bangkok. It offers modern classrooms and state-of-the-art facilities for all learners, from EYFS to Key Stage 5 (Year 13).
