International Pioneers is one such institution that has grown from strength to strength in the past 25 years since its inception. IPS celebrates its silver jubilee in much gusto. "I’m Ploypailin Boonpeng, and my parents are Pattaraporn Limvataros and Tatsapong Boonpeng. I had attended IPS for five years after moving schools from New Zealand. My mother decided to choose IPS for my brother (yes my brother is also in IPS) and me because of the strong and advanced curriculum compared to my old school. Another reason was because of how near it was to our current residence. What I personally like about IPS is the small, cosy and welcoming community this school has to offer.From the teachers and the staff to the pupils attending, it just can’t be compared to any other school out there. IPS is also known for its excellence in academics and sports which made me develop more love for this school. One of the best experiences has to be the activities, and events IPS holds every year — for example, the 20th Anniversary Fun Fair, Songkran Celebration and so much more. "What can you say about a place you spent your life growing up in? It cannot be summed in a few words because IPS means/will mean different things to me at different stages in my life. From small seedlings to full-grown trees we became, with supportive teachers who have seen the whole process through, it has become nothing less than a home. At the same time, seeing the school grow with us over the 17 years of our association has resulted in a different kind of belonging to the school. "My boys, Akkhrawin and Akkharin Ghogar joined IPS since year 1, and my daughter Nanthisa Ghogar joined since K1. Apart from the school fees being reasonable, the location is also very convenient so fortunately, my kids don't have to sit through hours of traffic while commuting to school. Moreover, its mixed culture and homely environment make it an appealing place for the kids to grow up in. The school focuses on not only education but also other activities. They always speak of their field trips and fun activities that take place in school. I have seen the school grow and move forward in the past eleven years that my kids have been here.
