Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
At IPS, we believe in the holistic development of learners by providing an enabling environment that encourages students to learn and grow.
Early Years International School in Bangkok
IPS aims to provide learners with the best possible start and support through quality and consistency in our Early Years international school. At our two Bangkok campuses in Charoen Nakorn, Krungthonburi, and Phutthamonthon Sai 2, Bangkhae, learning and development are encouraged in a healthy, safe, secure, and inclusive environment through age-appropriate activities and experiences.
We believe in fostering partnerships between parents and teachers for the holistic development of learners. Our lessons and activities are designed to achieve the early learning goals that equip learners with knowledge, skills, and understanding.
In Kindergarten, our curriculum is based on the British Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). International Pioneers School follows the British Early Years curriculum, designed to nurture students’ interests and skills while motivating them to become lifelong learners.
The Early Years international school programme at IPS includes Kindergarten 1 and 2:
Kindergarten 1 ( EYFS Ages 3–4)
Kindergarten 1 ( EYFS ) introduces children to a caring and engaging school environment where they begin developing social confidence, communication, self-management, and early literacy and numeracy awareness. Learning at this stage is practical, sensory, creative, and highly interactive, where children can feel secure as they discover new ideas and interests.
Kindergarten 2 ( EYFS Ages 4–5)
Kindergarten 2 builds on these foundations and prepares children fully for the transition into Key Stage (KS) 1 at International Pioneers School Krungthonburi or Bangkhae. At this stage, learners continue to strengthen communication, early reading and writing, number understanding, physical coordination, and confidence in group learning while still learning through play and guided exploration.
